A delegation from Palekh District of Ivanovo Region, headed by Svetlana Viktorovna Lelyukhina, visited the municipality of Svrljig, located in southern Serbia, at the invitation of the Serbian side.
As part of the visit, an agreement on cooperation was signed with the municipality, which is headed by Miroslav Markovic. The cooperation is expected to expand mutually beneficial trade and economic ties and the implementation of joint projects, including in the agro-industrial, textile and food sectors, as well as in tourism, culture, education and sports.
A return visit to Ivanovo Region is planned by the end of 2026.
