Milovan Peulić, Head of the EU Integration Department at the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Srpska (BiH), gave an exclusive comment to the Balkan Business Club on the eve of the III International Economic Forum ‘Russia-Balkans in the Architecture of a Multipolar World: Prospects for Economic Integration,’ which will be held in Moscow on March 13–14, 2026.
‘For the third consecutive year, the Forum has provided a unique communication platform for open dialogue and constructive interaction between representatives of the Balkan Peninsula and regions of the Russian Federation. Not only does the project help establish effective contacts but it also strengthens partnerships, fostering the development of international business and investment’, says Peulić.
According to him, the discussion will focus on global challenges, particularly in the energy sector. Peulić emphasised that the forum provides the participants with an ideal venue where they can discuss the industry’s key issues and development prospects, exchange best practices, and develop joint strategies to address the emerging challenges.
‘The current forum has already become a major event on the business calendar, attracting a wide range of those interested from across Europe and around the world,’ he added. ‘Participants have an excellent opportunity to meet in person, share their views and initiatives, and deepen their understanding of current trends and future directions,’ Peulić concluded. He also expressed confidence that the project would enable every participant to broaden their professional horizons and make a significant contribution to solving the world’s most pressing issues of the time.
Milovan Peulić is a renowned diplomat and a participant in several Russia-Balkans projects. In 2024, he acted as an international observer at the Russian presidential election. He stated that the Russian Federation had set the highest standard for electoral quality, specifically through the use of advanced voting equipment.
